Seribu Island - Indonesia

Accommodations:
Built on two island, Timur (east) Island and Barat (west) Island the resort has 56 cottages at Timur and 34 cottages at Barat.
Facilities:
Timur Island has 4 tennis courts, a continental and Indonesian foods restaurant, snack counter, souvenir shop, disco and marine sport rental shop. Barat Island has a convention hall of 180 sq meters, large, scuba diving shop, swimming pool and a Japanese foods restaurant, a Teppanyaki restaurant, fresh water swimming pool and scuba diving shop.
Bidadari Island
Being the nearest Island Resort, Pulau Bidadari is reachable in 20 minutes ride on speedboat, about 15 km. from the Ancol marina. The cottages are built among trees which provide shady and comfortable environment giving you the feeling of being integrated with the nature. And those floating over the sea give you to the touch of fishermen's home atmosphere.
To make your visit a complete one. join our organized tour to neighboring island Kahyangan, Kelor and Onrust where historical remains of the Dutch's East Indies Company of the 17th Century are preserved.

Matahari Island
The Matahari Island Resort is situated on Pulau Macan Besar ( Great Tiger Island ) and was recently as October 1992. Most people will reach it in around two hours on the modern cruisers which leave from the Marina Ancol. Some arrive by helicopter since the the Resort has its own helipad.
Accommodations:
On the island you find 83 two-storied and nicely furnished cottages, all with double bedrooms and an extra sofa- bed. Each bedroom has its own private bath, air conditioning and telephone - the comforts of home on a tropical island. Most of the cottages have been built around the shoreline so the balconies offer you the prospect of tantalizing views over the surrounding islands and a front row seat to watch the drama of spectacular sunset.

For sporting facilities include two tennis courts, volley ball, badminton, table tennis, a jogging track, floor chess, billiards, sea - water rock pool and children playground. jet skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving (all water sports equipment can be rented on site at the Marine Shop). Nighttime fishing expeditions can be arranged too. For an evening's entertainment on shore there is the Bamboo Bar which karaoke, disco music and movie presentations. The main restaurant offers buffet - style Indonesian and European food.
Meeting Facilities:
Furnished with the necessary meeting equipment the Bamboo Meeting room can seat from 40 to 100 persons. In case you have rented the whole resort for your party there is simple seating capacity up to 150 persons in the main restaurant too.
Putri Island

OTHER ISLANDS
Onrust Island
lies close to the islands Kelor and Bidadari. It takes only about one hour from Muara angke or the marina Ancol - Jakarta, to set the island. The name "Onrust" means "restlessness" in the Dutch language. The island is 1,512 hectares large. It's said to have once been the most magnificent shipyard in the Southeast Asia, in fact which was know ledged by Captain James T. Cook, the skipper or the "Endeavor" who stepped by in 1770. Onrust Island - also called Damar Besar island, lies near Tanjung Priok, Jakartas call it "Pulau Monyet" (monkey island). There is a lighthouse on this island, built in 1879.
Bokor Island
is one of the islands earmarked to become part of a nature reserve for sea life. Beautiful hard and soft corals, fishes and mollusks line in waters around the island.
Kelor Island
is very closed to Pulau Kapal (ship island) and pulau Bidadari (angel island). Reachable in one hour by the sea from Marina Ancol. The remains of a 17th century Dutch fort and shipyard are found on this island.
Rambut Island (Hair Island)
is 45 hectares large and is surrounded by coral reefs and mangrove stands. It can beach from Maina Ancol via the islands Bidadari, Onrust, Kelor, Ubi Kecil and Untungjawa. This island is also called "kerajaan burung" (bird kingdom), because it is a bird sanctuary where various bird sanctuary the island has attracted the attention of the authorities since the 1930.
Pari Island
is and ocean logical science observation. An important aspect of the studies undertaken at Pulau Pari concerns the conditions of the coral reefs and marine life in these waters.
Perak Island
has clean water and suitable for snorkeling and swimming. This is most pleasant place for camping.
Melinjo Island
near Pulau Perak, has nice bungalows with splendid scenery. This island is mostly visited by young tourist.
